Babycream
Sexy is as sexy does and Babycream is one sexy restaurant. Capitalising on the truly international reputation of the Merseyside super-club, Cream, this latest venture is soon to be rolled out across the UK.
Located at Albert Dock, and just few minutes walk from The Albany & The Unity Building, the menu is designed for sharing. What's more, many of the dishes are based around a global version of fondue - some of which are cooked at your table, others of which you will need to tear and share. Geisha
Geisha Bar is an Eastern themed venue from Liverpool's award winning Korova Group Located on Myrtle Street, to the side of the Philharmonic Hall and close to Liverpool's cultural centre. It is set to become the new Liverpool culinary flagship. As well as serving high quality Asian food, with a range of influences including Chinese, Thai and Japanese, Geisha also boasts stunning and innovative conceptual design hallmarks, which will make this a truly cosmopolitan dining experience.
Circo
Originated by Rob Gutmann and has been influenced by his foreign adventures, in this case a memorable evening he spent in the 21 Club in Manhattan. If some of Circo's food and atmosphere is reminiscent of New York, then it's heart and soul belong to another far flung venue, one of Paris's best kept secrets - The Clown Bar. For those not in the know this amazing place near the Winter Circus is where clowns have been coming to unwind and drown their sorrows for over a hundred years. This new Circo captures that same warmth, pathos and slightly dark heart.
Filling a vast series of spaces in the old Britannia pavilion warehouse in the Albert Dock, the interior sees the marrying of slick modernism with eclectic pieces largely collected by Gutmann on his travels. The menu is no less inspired and features delights such as Kobe steak, fillet Rossini, sausage cassoulet and crispy seabass. For those looking for something a little less elaborate there is also a good range of pasta & pizza.
